Why I Created This
One of the most common challenges I see with clients is when the portal into their business doesn't align with the quality of their product.
Sometimes this is due to 'too many cooks' - too many opinions in the team resulting in a chaotic representation of the business online.
Often it is simply that founders are also the web designer, the accountant and the cleaner - doing everything themselves and marketing just isn't their forte or they don't have anyone to bounce ideas with.
As the founder of The Artisan Founder, I’ve had the privilege of curating a directory that showcases only the finest artisan brands - businesses who can say I made this.
Fewer than 5% of the businesses who apply are accepted to become a member of the directory, and it’s often because their website doesn’t fully align with the beauty and soul of their work. Just like all makers their products are truly beautiful, but this quality doesn't carry through to their brand visuals.

Your Coach
Lyndsey's entrepreneurial journey began over 20 years ago in commercial photography, laying the foundation for a career marked by a diverse range of creative and business achievements.
She established a successful photographic studio, developed highly regarded commercial photography e-courses for a global business audience, and built the industry-leading photo backdrops brand Photo Boards®.
Alongside these ventures, she's co-founded two homeware and gift shops, two coffee houses, and established multiple e-commerce stores serving wholesale and retail customers.
Lyndsey’s expertise has led her to serve as a guest expert for prominent organisations including Etsy, Folksy, Time Inc., and Vodafone Business.
Amidst the pandemic’s impact on retail and hospitality, Lyndsey embraced a slower, more intentional lifestyle from her cottage in the countryside. With her industry connections and extensive experience, Lyndsey now guides other businesses as a digital consultant, helping creative brands define and achieve their own visions of success.
She is pursuing her passion for championing craftsmanship through a dedicated directory and podcast, celebrating the finest artisan products, places, and experiences worldwide, and shares her musings in a weekly newsletter titled Notes from Under The Walnut Tree.

How do I schedule my appointment?
Upon purchasing coaching, you'll be able to go ahead and book a date/time in the calendar on your coaching page.
Can I purchase coaching more than once?
Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, we can discuss availability for regular sessions or you can simply book another session online.
What if I can't decide which themed session to choose?
The themes are there as a guide, but we might start on one theme and spend more time on another. The session is led by what you need help with most urgently.
Should I book for one hour or two?
2 hours is recommended for a first session, but we can start with 1 hour if you prefer.
How is the coaching delivered?
We will use Google Meet for the coaching session, which is browser based.
You'll ideally attend via a desktop/laptop screen so that you can can clearly see my screen share.
You'll receive a call link automatically via email when you book a date.
Do I need to understand the technicalities of my website?
No, whether you manage your own website or someone else does this for you, the aim of our session is to help you to understand where improvements can be made. You can either do these yourself or instruct your developer to make changes.
